Camp Aldersgate 34th Annual Fish Fry

Each ticket sold will include a delicious fried fish plate with all the “fixins”, along with fun fall activities including a children’s fishing derby, face painting, a merchants pavilion, local live music. and more! The 34th Annual Fish Fry is scheduled for Sunday, October 8th from 12:00 to 3:00 pm and will be the biggest and best Fish Fry to date!

This is a meeting of the GCDD’s State Plan and Implementation Committee (SPI). SPI will meet to consider applications for funding for the 10/01/17-09/30/18 project period. The RFP/NOFA was posted on 06/09/17 and the application deadline was 07/14/17 at 11:59 pm.

Applicant projects must fit within the following Goals/Objectives/Activities of the GCDD’s 5 Year State Plan to be considered for this funding cycle:
Goal 1-Objective 1-Activity 1: The Council will provide funding to strengthen a statewide advocacy organization by creating an RFP that will provide funds to allow an organization to increase membership and participation of self‐advocates.
Goal 2-Objective 1-Activity 1: Create an RFP that will support a community partner, in each of the state’s five (5) regions, in strengthening access to information and training.
Goal 3-Objective 2-Activity 2: The Council will develop a request for proposal for a community partner to assist people with developmental disabilities with the shift from sheltered employment to competitive, integrated employment and increase access to employment services.

Only complete applications submitted prior to the deadline are being considered for eligibility and possible funding. Decision notices will be sent beginning 08/15/17.

Register! Educate! Vote! Governor Hutchinson is confirmed to join in for a photo op with attendees and to present the signed proclamation. The FAMILY SUPPORT EXPO will be held Friday, 05/25/17 from 9am-3pm in the Harding Academy Parking Lot.
The VICTORY CELEBRATION will be held Friday night from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m at Berry Hill Park located at 1886 Higginson St. Searcy, AR.
