REV UP Arkansas is a campaign for National Disability Voter Registration Week - July 17-21, 2017. On the 19th, AR State Independent Living Council will host a voter education event at the Arkansas State Capitol beginning at 10:00 a.m. We are sending a message on the importance of the disability vote in our state! Register! Educate! Vote! Governor Hutchinson is confirmed to join in for a photo op with attendees and to present the signed proclamation. Mayor Mark Stodola is confirmed as a speaker.  Let’s make this event big and send the message that the Disability Vote does Matter!

Join us tomorrow, July 19, 2017, for the next WISE webinar. We will present information on Social Security programs and rules that may apply to you! Join the webinar to learn about Ticket to Work and Work Incentives, frequently asked questions and where to find more information. We will be joined by our guest, the Job Accommodation Network, who will discuss:
• Reasonable accommodations and how to ask for them;
• Disclosing your disability; and
• Ticket to Work and Work Incentives.
